1. Purpose of the service
Finance Manager is a personal budgeting tool for recording income, expenses, savings, planned payments and shared household finances. It is not a bank, payment service, accounting system, investment platform, or provider of financial, tax or legal advice.
2. Calculations and estimates
Totals, charts, daily spending guidance, projected balances, alerts and other outputs depend on the information stored in Finance and its software rules. They may be affected by incorrect input, delayed updates, software defects, incomplete data or household-setting changes. Verify material amounts with your bank, creditor, merchant or another primary source before making an important financial decision.
3. Alerts are not guaranteed
Push, email and in-app notifications are convenience features. Delivery may be delayed, suppressed by the operating system, fail entirely or depend on device settings. Do not rely on Finance notifications as the sole reminder for a due date, payment, balance or other time-sensitive obligation.
4. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, categorization, dates, sharing scope and your own financial decisions. Finance is not a substitute for a bank statement, accounting record or documentation you are legally, contractually or tax-wise required to retain.
5. Shared households
By joining a household you acknowledge that shared records may be visible to other active members. Depending on permissions, members may add, edit or delete records affecting shared totals. You and the household managers are responsible for deciding who receives household access.
6. Account and security
Protect your password, email account, passkeys and devices on which you remain signed in. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password, revoke saved sessions/passkeys and contact the operator.
7. Availability, changes and data loss
Finance is actively developed. Maintenance, outages, defects and feature changes may occur. Although backups and integrity controls are used, uninterrupted availability, error-free calculations and absolute protection against data loss or corruption cannot be guaranteed.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Finance is provided “as is” without a guarantee that it will always be accurate, available or suitable for a particular financial purpose. The operator is not responsible for financial loss or other damage resulting from reliance on an incorrect calculation or estimate, a missed notification, incorrectly entered data, an outage, an application defect, unauthorized account use outside the operator's reasonable control, or data loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Automated integrity monitoring
Finance may automatically reconcile totals and database relationships. A detected mismatch may create a diagnostic record and technical alert for the operator. This improves the chance of detecting defects, but it does not guarantee that every error or incorrect input will be detected.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to gain unauthorized access, disrupt operation, overload it through abusive automation, distribute malicious code or obtain another user's data without authorization.
11. Export and account closure
You can export data from Settings as CSV, JSON or a complete Finance archive and delete your account in the application. A household owner can transfer ownership to another active member or permanently delete the entire household. Deleting a household removes its financial data for all members and cannot be undone. When an account is deleted, personal account data and personal financial records are removed or anonymized; records shared with a household may remain anonymized so other members retain their shared history.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be published in the application. Questions can be sent to mason@immasonxd.dev. Mandatory consumer and other statutory rights remain unaffected.
